This fictional universe explores what happens when modern civilization becomes unstable following a catastrophic global event. Politically, legally, and socially, the world resembles our own, but a single crisis permanently alters the balance of power between governments, institutions, corporations, and extremist movements.
The triggering event is intentionally left ambiguous. It could be an unexplained disaster, abnormal technology, coordinated disinformation campaigns, or the emergence of organizations operating beyond the limits of international law. Whatever it was, it destabilized global systems and exposed the fragility of modern civilization.
Unlike traditional science fiction or fantasy settings, this universe focuses on realism. Governments respond with emergency powers, intelligence operations, legal restructuring, propaganda campaigns, surveillance systems, and military containment efforts. International alliances weaken, trust in institutions declines, and ideological factions compete to shape the future.
