Wiki requests queue

The wiki will cover the arts as described here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_arts -- meaning its intended purpose will be to comprehensively document all produced visual, literary, multidisciplinary, and performance art works for the sake of art preservation and reference.

The intent is to serve as a complete online library for the arts.

Pages would exist for the following:

• writers of books, plays, poetry, films, series, and music, including uncertain widely credited authors of ancient texts
  
• directors of movies and showrunners of series, as well as producers of both when they exerted creative influence exceeding that of a director/showrunner on a work
  
• singer-songwriters
  
• architects and sculptors
  
• painters, photographers, and digital artists
  
• actors, performance artists, singers, and prolific instrumentalists
  
• music producers
  
• game designers, directors, engineers, and producers
  
• comic and manga illustrators
  
• prolific ancillary artists e.g. concept artists, cinematographers, costume designers, special effects and sound designers, and editors
  
• and the works related to the above mentioned professions
  
  • songs, series seasons (and select serialized series episodes), comic storylines, and manga arcs get their own pages
    

What won’t be covered:

• critical reception of a work is not to be noted unless it affected future works (e.g. studio funding for future projects) or the artist themselves (e.g. the creative process or their mental health). Objections to content may be noted if it negatively affected the work’s preservation. The encyclopedia is first and foremost about the works and the artists, not opinions about them
  
• things in a work (characters, places, events) do not receive separate pages, however pages for lists of prominent characters along with their bios from a series is allowed
  
• external actors on art (studios, labels, publishers) do not receive pages
  
• covers of compositions do not receive separate pages; however, the page for the original composition may include sections for notable renditions complete with their own infoboxes
  

How this wiki isn’t redundant; some of its unique features

• essential, pivotal works of artists will be noted on their respective pages. If someone had never engaged with an artist’s work before, they would instantly be able to see their most prototypical work
  

• the preservation status of all works will be noted in a tiering system. Is it available physically or only digitally? Is it only available on streaming service? If it’s a structure, is it partially or completely standing? If it’s destroyed, do we know its layout through surviving plans? Is a video game not available on any actively supported platform?
  

• for series works, a work’s artistic lineage will be specified. Was it helmed by the series’ original creator? Was this an interpretation of the universe by another artist? Was this a licensed continuation? For non-series works, e.g. music, studio interference will be noted
  

Because this is such a massive undertaking, I would like to have it private to begin with until it's in a state that I feel others can contribute to it. Copies or links to streams or downloads of works not in the public domain will not be present. All present media (e.g. images, sound, video) will comply with copyright standards.
