Yes I am using Namecheap. I have now set two records: CNAME Record, www, solarpunk.wikioasis.org, Automatic and URL Redirect Record, @, https://www.solarpunk.wikioasis.org, Unmasked Do you know if this is correct or if I need to do anything else? Thank you for your help!

Since CNAME cannot be used for the root domain due to DNS usage, I think it would be appropriate to use www for the actual location and have the root domain redirected to www by the Namecheap DNS (which you probably use) feature.

I had A records pointing at the root domain which I have removed now. Now I only have the CNAME. I hope that way both www and the root domain will point to the wiki. Or do I need to set an A record as well?

I have checked the CNAME at https://www.solarpunk.wiki, but it appears that other content is located at https://solarpunk.wiki (the root domain). Given that many browsers treat the www and root domain as the same host, it seems to me that it would be better to replace the root domain content with a wiki or use a different subdomain, which do you want?
