The aim of this policy is to ensure that volunteers generally manage volunteers, and that all volunteers are treated in accordance with the Foundation policies on volunteers. To further these aims, the Foundation shall appoint a Volunteer Manager to hire, fire, and otherwise supervise volunteers, and who shall be a volunteer themselves. The Volunteer Manager shall not fire core team members, defined as Waki285, Justarandomamerican, Globe, and Zippy. The Volunteer Manager does not have the authority to fire Foundation Board Members who are also volunteers. The Foundation Board also shall not terminate volunteers, except for gross misconduct. The Foundation may terminate the Volunteer Manager at any time based on one of the following: gross misconduct or incompetence involving legal compliance.
