GovNP Commons Beta Wiki is a unique collaborative effort dedicated to the archival recording and metadata classification of public domain materials of Nepal. In contrast to the primary GovNP Beta Wiki and Dev Wiki, which is mainly devoted to beta encyclopedic writing, this wiki is intended to be the place where the majority of our technical work will occur. It will house the main collaborative activities involved in the transcribing of scanned documents, analysis of historical infographics, and creation of a metadata standard for educational resources within the GovNP Foundation. A separate namespace is needed for our work flow in order not to clutter the primary wiki with excessive change and file logs due to the amount of technical metadata and transcription work that we do. This wiki will become the hub for organizing our assets prior to using them in the rest of GovNP efficiently and this would make huge impact in our developing community.
