Their duties include removing or restoring pages, protecting content, and managing disruptive behavior through blocks. Admins act as caretakers of the project, ensuring policy compliance and a healthy collaborative environment.

==Becoming an Administrator==
Interested users can nominate themselves or be nominated by others on [[Meta:Requests for permissions]].

A successful request must meet these criteria:
* Minimum of 5 supporting users
* At least 70% support ratio
* The voting must remain open for 7 days

Once the criteria are met, the request may be closed by a steward or appropriate official.

==Removal of Rights==
Administrator rights may be revoked under these conditions:

* A revocation request gathers at least 5 supporting votes
* The support ratio is 51% or higher
* The request remains open for 7 days  
* The administrator has not used admin tools (such as deletions, protections, or blocks) or made any administrative edits in 3 months.

Inactive admins may be reviewed periodically to ensure the rights are actively maintained.
