Steward and community global bans are only instituted when all of the following apply: | |||

*A simple global lock would not suffice, for reasons that include the fact that a user is established. | |||
*and the user is incorrigible, they have been given multiple warnings or blocks for their behavior. | |||
The Technology Team can only institute a global ban when it is critical to site infrastructure or security, and Community Support and Safety does not respond within a reasonable period of time. | |||
