Stewards Global Administrators Global Patrollers
Global Patrollers are users who have the ability to use basic technical tools such as deleting pages and blocking users on all WikiOasis wikis.
Permissions
Global Patrollers have the technical ability to do the following (not an exhaustive list):
- Delete and undelete pages, revisions and logged actions
- Locally block and unblock users
Appointment
A Global Patroller is a trusted role that allows an editor to block users across the entire WikiOasis farm. For the request to be deemed successful, there needs to be the following:
- At least 5 users vote in the discussion
- At least a 2/3 support ratio
- The request must have been open for at least 5 days
Revocation
Global patrollers can be removed via a revocation request on Requests for global roles. The request must receive at least 5 votes and a total support ratio of 2/3 over 5 days.
