'''Global Patrollers''' are users who have the ability to use basic technical tools such as deleting pages and blocking users on all WikiOasis wikis.

==Permissions==
Global Patrollers have the technical ability to do the following (not an exhaustive list):
* Delete and undelete pages, revisions and logged actions
* Locally block and unblock users

== Appointment ==
A Global Patroller is a trusted role that allows an editor to block users across the entire WikiOasis farm. For the request to be deemed successful, there needs to be the following:
* At least 5 users vote in the discussion
* At least a 2/3 support ratio
* The request must have been open for at least 5 days

==Revocation==
Global patrollers can be removed via a revocation request on [[Requests for global roles]]. The request must receive at least 5 votes and a total support ratio of 2/3 over 5 days.
