Some of your recent actions indicate attempts to harass other users. Such behavior is strictly prohibited anywhere on WikiOasis. Harassment of other users is a serious offense that may lead to blocks and/or global locks, with or without further warning. Any of the following behaviors may be considered harassment:

  • Intentionally belittling, insulting, or personally attacking another user. Remember, even disruptive users are human beings and should not be personally degraded
  • Overly restrictive and block good faith users from editing. Remember, blocks may only be issued for violations of your community’s written rules
  • Abusing admin status to harass other community members and/or overuse blocking permission. Remember, community members must be treated with respect
  • Somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their talk page, but you do not respect their wishes and/or remove their request. Remember, it is their talk page
  • Pressuring another user into making a decision that they otherwise might not have made
  • Repeatedly "beating on a dead horse" – that is, continuing to push an issue, particularly a negative issue (badgering another editor or user), after said issue has been resolved. May also be referred to as "rubbing it in".
  • Gaslighting of other users, of any form and severity.
  • Making comments or threats that are intended to create a "chilling effect"
  • Releasing personally identifiable information (PII) about another user without permissions ("outing")
  • Engaging in any of the above behaviors off-wiki, with the intent of generating on-wiki repercussions
  • Annoying another user into responding to you in an inappropriate way or other forms of disruptive annoyances
  • Making comments after the fact that the user was blocked. May be referred to as gravedancing.

Note that the above list is not exhaustive. Other behaviors may still be considered harassment. Remember, off-wiki harassment is just as serious as on-wiki harassment. Any form of harassment may lead to the harasser being restricted from certain WikiOasis platforms or banned from WikiOasis services altogether. Harassment of other users is a severe violation of WikiOasis's global Code of Conduct and Terms of Use, which all users of the service are expected to follow with no exceptions whatsoever.
