Editing Tech:Organization

The Department of Technology is organized into the following roles:

==Leadership==

===Director of Technology===
This role has its duties assigned by the [[Board/Bylaws|Bylaws]], and is appointed by the Board of the WikiOasis Foundation.

===Deputy Director of Technology===
This role is appointed by the Director of Technology, and is a tech team member, not an officer of the WikiOasis Foundation.

==Shell roles==

===Infrastructure Specialists===
This role has all-encompassing access in general, and can make changes to most servers.

===MediaWiki Specialists===
MediaWiki Specialists focus on maintaining the availability of the main service of WikiOasis, which is MediaWiki.

==Non-shell roles==

===Project Manager===
Project Managers are assigned by the Director of Technology to manage the Foundation's technical resources in a specific area.
