Requests for Comment

Requests for Comments are an easy way to gather community feedback and to form community consensus on proposals, ideas, and issues. They can be used whenever the community should be consulted. Please read the Requests for Comment Policy before participating or starting a request.

Before starting a RfC

If you are requesting administrators to take action, consider appropriate request pages first.
Have you discussed your idea on the Community portal?
Technical requests should be made on the Community portal.

Create a Request for Comment

To create a new RfC, enter a title below and click "New Proposal":

Create the page and describe your proposal clearly.
Set status to draft if discussion has not started.
Move to feedback when seeking input.
Move to open once ready for voting.
