The Board shall establish voting requirements for community-elected seats by Board policy. The Board must confirm, by majority vote, any community-elected Director before they take their seat. If this is not satisfied, the elected Director may not take their seat, and the Board must hold a special election where the person elected in the first election is ineligible. The Board must also hold a special election at the beginning of the month after a mid-term vacancy occurs.
